Our Vision to own a beautiful piece of God's earth and convert it to a working dairy farm to promote the restoration of family farming and at the same time heal human souls. The belief is that over the course of time these redeemed souls will come to a place of "rest" by God's grace and power which is facilitated by a divine connection with His animals, His dirt, His water, and His people.
By reconnecting the human back to the land and soil they will discover the beginning of all things.
Man was made to tend the Garden of Eden, to enjoy its fruit and vegetables, and to manage of the creatures of the earth.
Our goal with each person is to help them find their purpose as an image bearer of the Creator. Once their hearts are minds are centered in God's Creative purpose for man, these restored souls will then enter back into their Spirit led and His Divinely ordered world to serve humanity and the Lord with purpose of heart.

Our family has been "dwelling" in the region of Pilot Mountain for almost twenty years waiting for His "Restoration" of our original mandate to "go" and do "good" for this place.

The Tree of Life Farm Vision began in 2005 and became real again in the beginning of 2022 after several Divine encounters and the death of my father, J Harold Keener
Having fought the good fight of faith, Jay Harold Keener, ‘Harold’, went home to his heavenly dwelling from his beloved earthly home in Elizabethtown, PA, on Friday, August 6, 2021.
Loved by all who knew him, Harold (aka Dad, Daddy, Pop Pop) was preceded to glory by his parents, Jay Lester and Esther Sue (Fink) Keener and his first wife of thirty-nine years, Susanne Beatrice (Martin) Keener. He was a man who loved his God wholeheartedly and this earthly soil which he farmed most of his life.
Born in Hershey, PA, on July 1,1940, Harold was from the humble roots of his family's farm. As his mind grew through a one room schoolhouse to the big halls of Elizabethtown High School, to the sermons of the Puritans and C.H. Spurgeon and the contemplations upon a faithful John Deere tractor, Harold remained sharp and witty until his very last moments. Yet, it is his godly wisdom, stalwart faith and fervent prayers that will most remain with those who will live on remembering this remarkable man.

We have to get out into the natural elements of His Creation and reconnect with Him in order to find peace and rest for our souls and for our stressed out minds. Food and water are the basic need of every human and we have lost our understanding of where food comes from thus we are vulnerable to the schemes of an evil society bent on removing the need of humans on the earth.

Our Mission
Our desire is to restore humans by reconnecting them to their Creator and His original mandate for man to partner with Him to manage His earth. We realize that we will always fight our fallen nature and this dark world system, all while we know that perfection will not be realized until Jesus comes back and sets up His Throne in Jerusalem and we are brought to Him as His elect family.
The incarnation of Jesus Christ had one main purpose, to "reverse the curse" that happened in the Garden of Eden, that which caused the worldwide flood, and the scattering of the nations at the tower of Babel when the disobedient angels left their proper abode in Heaven and entered our earth from the summit of Mt Hermon. These sons of disobedience decided to merge the divine with the human and thus they made new race that corrupted the everything in the earth

This wicked act caused all the violence that led to the worldwide flood judgment.
The earth would endure a worldwide flood and only Noah and his family survived. The ark was God's solution and today the Gospel of Jesus Christ is God's remedy for us humans to avert the final fiery judgment coming upon the earth.
When Jesus died on the cross and then rose again he made a "way" for all humans to "enter" back into the Garden of Eden and perfect fellowship with the Father.
Today We may "enter" into the Garden by placing our faith exclusively in His finished work on the cross (represented by the tree of life in the Garden) and with certain knowledge of His Victory over death revealed to the entire world via an empty tomb.
Jesus is the Way, The Truth, and the Life.
By meditating on truth we enter back into the Garden of Eden and the Rest of God

We start with a 50 acre property that is set beautifully in the glory of His creation in northwestern NC. This farm is a place that carries the blessing of His Presence, we believe that His Presence is the main ingredient of our success in turning hearts back to God.
To facilitate this holy connection, we must deal with the reality of our basic human need as creatures of the dust to connect our whole soul and body to Our King.
Our journey starts with our Creator (the Alpha and Omega) and our role as His vice regents of His earth. This understanding enables God's sons and daughters to establish their life purpose, heal their soul, develop real human fellowship, spend time alone in His Presence, and to hear the still small Voice of the Holy Spirit.
We believe a 7 day walk through Genesis 1 and 2 is the best way to rebuild the human

Our long term aspirations are to preserve this "place of refuge" for generations to come, to maintain a special place on earth where people dwell together in the unity of the Spirit and in the bond of peace and where souls are healed by His Holy Presence and we can take care of each other in times of tribulation.
In these times of great uncertainty we all need a place to go, a place of retreat, to recalibrate our soul. Just as the Israelites had a cities of refuge for fugitives to flee for justice in times of trouble, all of us need a place to connect with God's children in the holy presence of the Living God when things are upside down. This is HIs ultimate plan of preparing HIs Bride for His glorious Return to earth.

Milking cows is as old as time
If the earth belongs to us then we have a God ordained stewardship over the beasts of the earth and the things of this earth why aren't we doing this in greater numbers?
By reconnecting the human to the dirt and the animals we begin the process of restoration

We came to Pilot Mountain in 2005 to do good for God and for this region, we lost our original land and ministry due to a series of unfortunate events and had to leave Pilot Mountain in 2011.
The Lord sent us back in 2014 to complete the work we originally were sent to Pilot Mountain to do. The Lord gave me the word "restore" while we were moving back to this part of the USA.

Our Focus is, first the soul, then the mind, then the body
To create safe haven for the Lord's people to discover what it means to walk in "the rest of God'", a place where the Spirit of Christ moves powerfully to realign our understanding to what and who we really are as human beings made in His image and now transformed by His Grace living as sons and daughters of the Most High.
God works so we work, physically, emotionally, and spiritually

This farm retreat is established in a beautifully set agricultural setting, separated from the hustle and bustle of our fast paced techno-crazed American culture, our simple desire is for humans to learn how to be "still" so they tune in to His Voice.
The result will be better humans able to operate in community all over the earth

Our desire is to reveal firsthand in a productive way the love of Jesus to human souls in a way that allows a human to discover their deepest need of soul connection with Him all the while working and observing life on a dairy farm.
Working on a dairy farm requires daily responsibility that trains into the human being the necessary life principals which ground us in truth and at the same time allows us to benefit the world around us by producing healthy food for our local community as well as bring folks together in a positive setting.

Our goal in the end is to launch an awakened soul into their God-ordained purpose and Heavenly calling that they were born to fulfill.
We all are servants of The Most High that live on top of His Earth. Our heavenly calling is can not be understood until God, by His Spirit, heals our soul through understanding the sacrifice of the Son of God to save them from His judgment and to place them inside His Family. By living in a real community that communes with His Spirit we will come to the unity and the bond of peace if we continually let His Word direct our way.
Most assuredly, these awakened souls will become instruments of peace and reconciliation to help us heal our broken world during the Last Days of this age.
"You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You." Is.26:3
